Sod’s Law
Sod’s Law are a Punk/Indie/Rock covers band based in Midlothian. The band have been playing the Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders circuit for a few years now, but are no strangers to Fife, having supported Blondie tribute Dirty Harry Edinburgh who played Rockore last year, twice at PJ Molloys. The band give it 110% every time they play a gig in front of the good crowds they pull on the circuit.

Simple Minded
Simple Minded pride themselves on being the world’s best Simple Minds tribute band and rightly so! The bands line up consists of, George Porter – Vocals, Stevie Mason – Bass, Archie Dickson – Guitar, Stuart Clyde – Keyboards and Paul Carnegie – Drums.

Simple Minded have been lauded by past and present members of Simple Minds including singer Jim Kerr.

All the guys in the band are massive Simple Minds fans, so there’s a great deal of energy and enthusiasm in the band to deliver a brilliant set. In the bands own words they love what they do, absolutely love it and hope everyone who comes to their gigs loves it too.

Singer George and bass player Stevie have both worked with original Simple Minds members Derek Forbes and Brian McGee on their own projects. I guess this really underlines the authenticity of Simple Minded and validates what this group is all about. They really are a band that you must see performing live!
