Rockore takes place on Saturday the 22nd of August at Lochore Meadows Country Park and we have some fantastic bands lined up for you once again and they will be announced very soon🎶 Rockore 2018 and 2019 both sold out, so it’s advisable to buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment! Let’s make it a treble of sell outs😎
We are delighted to announce that the awesome PorkPie are “back by popular demand” for Rockore 2020. They have been 1 of the most requested bands to play Rockore, so it’s great to have them booked once again. They never fail to deliver, so get ready to Skank in August!
We are delighted to announce that AYE HOBOS-Evolution will be bringing CUNK (Country meets Punk) to Rockore for the first time on Saturday the 22nd of August at Lochore Meadows Country Park! The Dunfermline based band recently had the honour of playing a massive hometown gig when they supported The Skids and Big Country at the Glen Pavilion. A band not to be missed!
Another band announces for this years event are Dunfermline band Moonlight Zoo!
The band have already won 2 prestegious music awards. They were the Dunfermline Press Live Music award winners of 2015 and last year they won the global Hard Rock Cafe Battle of the Bands competition, which was held in New York and carried a $15000 prize to the winners! Rockore takes place on Saturday the 22nd of August at Lochore Meadows Country Park and joining Moonlight Zoo at this years event are, Magic Queen – Europe’s top Queen Tribute, PorkPie, Deacon Blues and AYE HOBOS-Evolution.
Within the park but definitely a challenging event.
Tiger Escapade is an OCR (obstacle course race) at Lochore Meadows, Fife on Sunday 13th September 2020. Obstacles will include cargo nets, walls, mud, water (can be deep at times), barbed wire & electricity. All obstacles are suitable for all and can be bypassed if you do not feel comfortable doing them.
2020 will see 4 events at Tiger Escapade.
The Sprint £12 – Approx. 3 miles which should have around 15-20 obstacles on the course. This flat route will include most of the big/fun obstacles, with a suitable distance for all.
The Tiger £17 – The orginal Tiger Escapade. This will incorporate the sprint route, but with an additional loop towards the “cowshed” and Harran Hill, increasing the distance to approx. 5.5-6 miles. This route will have 25+ obstacles.
The Challenger £25 – The Tiger followed immediately by the Sprint 🙂
Sprint Relay £12 each – The sprint relay will require 2 people. Person A will do the sprint route by themselves. Once they come back to the finish line they will pass their timing chip to person B who will complete the same loop. You will get to see your time for both laps to see who was faster .. a nice competitive race.
When entering please put the person you are running with and pick a “team name ” so we can identify you both.
The event will be chip timed so you will be able to see your own personal time. All finishers will receive a custom bespoke medal. There will be water, fruit and sweets available at the end of the race.
For both the “Tiger” and “Challenger” runners, there will be a water station roughly half way round the course.
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male, Female, Junior Male, Junior Female for the Sprint, Tiger and Challenger.
There will also be a team prize for 1st, 2nd, 3rd combined time for the relay.
Juniors must be between 8-15 years old on race day. 16 years and over are classed as adults.

The 3 distances will be set off separately between 10.00 and 10.30.
Events are non-transferable. Once you have selected the event distance, this cannot be changed.

Back by popular demand Lochore Meadows Santa Festival will return in 2020.
2020 will once again see 3 event distances to choose from – 7.5KM, 5km and 2.5km. All distances are
approximate. 7.5K will be starting at 10.00am with the 5k and 2.5K shortly after. All entrants will receive a Santa suit upon registration at Lochore Meadows. With the ” real ” Santa being invited this year, the big man himself will start the race. The 2.5K loop will take in part of the loch, the mine, train and back through the trees to the start finish line. A 5K loop takes in the whole loch with the 7.5K loop doing the 2.5K followed by the 5 in a continuous circuit. *Please note we will be doing the reverse route of 2019.
All runners will receive :
* Santa suit and hat ( to keep )
* Fantastic Bespoke santa medal
* Bottled Water ( 5&7.5K will have the option to get a drink half way round if they desire )
* Funky santa race number
* selection box
* Xmas shortbread / biscuits
The event is open to all ages and abilities, making it an excellent family event. The course is suitable for walkers, wheelchair users, dogs and even buggies.
We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male, Female, Youth and Child in all 3 distances
Registration will be from 7.45am on Sunday 6th December within the Willie Clarke Centre. There will be the chance to pickup your suits on Saturday 5th December . This information will be in your event pack. You will be required to select your suit size on the sign up page. Suits are one size fits all within for the ages shown. If you would like exact sizes please email us . Once you have selected your suit this cannot be changed without contacting us before 1/11/2020.
Early Bird prices are open until Sunday 22nd December 2019. The event will then close until 1/10/2020 where an updated pricing structure will take place. Prices are regardless of distance (2.5k/5k/7.5K):
Adult (16 yrs +) – £12.00
Junior (under 16 yrs) – £8.00
Non Runner – £5.00*
*Non-runners will receive a Santa HAT and medal along with all other benefits. Non runners include children in buggies and wheel chair users. Non runners will not recieve a suit.
